My dedication to four special types of easy-going music. First and foremost, the now-rare Beautiful Music radio format. Beautiful Music is a radio term used to define a mixture of instrumental remakes of pop/nostalgia classics, with a sprinkling of soft adult vocals. At one time, Beautiful Music was one of the top formats in the country. Now, a mere handful of stations still air this wonderful format. "Mike's World of Beautiful Music" is also in dedication to three other special types of music that deserve more airplay than they receive: soft adult contemporary, smooth jazz, and nostalgia.
